| Cake Ingredients:
¾ CUP VEGETABLE OIL 2 CUPS SUGAR 2 CUPS COLD WATER 3 TABLESPOONS VINEGAR 6 TABLESPOONS COCOA 1 TEASPOON SALT 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA 3 ½ CUPS FLOUR 2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER CHOCOLATE SAUCE 2-4 TABLESPOONS OF COCOA 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR ½ TEASPOON VEGETABLE OIL 3-4 TABLESPOONS HOT WATER |
Directions:
MIX THE OIL, SUGAR, VINEGAR, WATER AND VANILLA. COMBINE THE FLOUR, SALT AND BAKING POWDER. ADD THIS TO THE LIQUID INGREDIENTS. BLEND WELL. POUR INTO AN OILED BAKING DISH COOK IN MEDIUM HOT OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES. WHEN COOLED, SPRINKLE POWDERED SUGAR OR CHOCOLATE SAUCE. MIX THE COCOA AND THE SUGAR SLOWLY ADDING THE WATER UNTIL CREAMY, THEN ADD OIL, BLEND AND POUR ON CAKE WHEN STILL WARM. HAPPY BAKING, HELEN GLYPTIS
